I am looking at SONY or SAMSUNG. I LIKE THE SONY 900 SERIES.
Bengals, if you are looking for a 55 inch, Sony XBR-55A9G (around $2,800) is about as good as it gets. For
a lessor price, I would recommend LG OLED55B9PUA (around $1,595).
We folks in Alabama don't have television yet but if we did I'd buy one of the above (55 inch). People in south
Florida are big shits with their TV's and all.
46 inch: Samsung QN49Q70R ($1,000)
40 inch: Sony XBR-43X800G ($600) can't go wrong with either.
I have three 40 inch TVs in the same room and love them for sports watching.
Samsung Q8 QLED here and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. Samsung is the way to go for TVs for me...
The 8 series is worth the extra couple hundo over the 7 series, but the 9 series isn’t, at least for me...
To me the big jump in their 2160 (non QLED) range is from 7 to 8 due to double the refresh rate that makes sports smoother
In QLED I found the most worthwhile jump to be from 6 to 7 as the 6 is edge lit and the 7 has the local dimming
Opted for size and got a bigger 7 series QLED vs an 8.
Nice TVs though. Samsung is the way to go IMO. LG OLEDs are nicer but not 3x nicer as cost would indicate.
If money is no object it's OLED, otherwise Samsung.
If budget is super tight I'd got 2160 8 series, otherwise 7 or 8 series QLED for mid-range budget.

That sucks. I only ever bought one LG and it was a 1080 non-smart old school like 8 years ago and it's still going strong hanging in my garage.I’ll never buy another LG, I switched from Samsung to LG on my tv before this one. It cost double and it lasted 5 years and went poof. Never again. I do like my LG washer and dryer and fridge, though.
